639 Festival

639 is an online film festival celebrating linguistic diversity. Through film screening, talks and interviews, the online film festival 639, seeks to raise awareness of languages at risk of disappearing listed in UNESCO’s Atlas of the Worlds Languages in Danger. The first edition of the festival was in support of Kalaallisut and was held on September 1-7th, 2020.
